The advantage is in the rims is there is no holes and therefore no rim tape, to the benefit of both stiffness, weight and getting tight tyres on and off. Also mean that Fulcrum can use there 2 Way Fit technology which means you can use both tubeless and clincher tyres. Running tubeless tyres means you can run the lower PSI in your tyres and can a smoother more comfortable ride, as well as making the your back pockets lighter.
