4. KAYBEDİLEN SIVININ PERFORMANS ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ VE YERİNE KONMASI Vücutta oluşan sıvı kaybı beraberinde organizmada şu değişimleri meydana getirmektedir.
-Toplam plazma hacminde düşme
-Vücut iç ısısında artış (rektal ısı)
-Kalp atım hızında artış
-Kalp dakika volumünde azalma
Sıvı kaybı dolayısıyla kas dokuya giden kan akımındaki değişimler besin dağılımını düşürebilmekte, metabolik atıkların uzaklaştırılmasını yavaşlatmakta ve hücresel metabolizmayı değiştirmektedir (32). Vücut ağırlığındaki %2’lik dehidrasyonun, 1.500 m, 5.000 m ve 10.000 m mesafelerdeki koşu hızına etkisinin incelendiği çalışmada, 1.500 m’de ortalama koşu hızının % 3 oranında azaldığı, 5.000 m ve 10.000 m’de bu oranın % 6’nın üzerine çıktığı tespit edilmiştir (33). Vücut sıvı miktarındaki minimal değişimler bile (% 1-2) dayanıklılık performansına zarar verebilmektedir
